THE RULE BOOK
You must follow and read through the rules before you start!
You can read this long post or the seperate chapters within the rule book covering its own section.

OOC: Out of Chracter
When you post in a roleplay... do not make your entire post
just a single line of out of character discussion... if you're
gonna do OOC, do it in PM or on some chat service... or at
least acompany it with some IC (in character) actions.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Two Places at Once
Alright, we've been having a lot of trouble keeping track of everyone.. so we're setting forth a new rule... YOU CAN'T ROLEPLAY
IN TWO PLACES AT THE SAME TIME. If you're in the
Traverse Town First District, you can't be in
Neverland at the same time. If you're in
Wonderland you can't be at Castle Oblivion or Twilight Town... or
even another thread in the same place. STICK TO ONE AREA. Also, on a
sidenote... please don't just randomly post anywhere... ask
permission before you enter anyone's roleplay, it's not polite
to just barge in. Thank you.

Combat Rules
Taking up the powerplaying, time with counter examples for easier understanding.
Example:
"Player aims a powerful punch at Users face, sending him flying."
ANALYSE: ok as you can see, he is inforcing his hit. Including "sending him flying" is a typical example.
try use a sentence like:
"Player aims a powerful punch at Users face, ATTEMPTING to send him flying."
ANALYSE: here this is fine. You are just saying what your attempting to do. Not forcing it to hit.
In overall;
Do never say you actually hit. It is the defending player that decides if it hits, where it hits (not out of habit though...) and how much damage it does (what type and such).
Saying things like "attempting, aims, trying" and such is very good.
When saying;
"Attempts to send him flying...."
"Aiming for the leg...."
"Trying to trip...."
and so on, your telling your opponent ooc what your planning,
what type of attack and so. It also makes it easier for the opponent to determinate how easy/hard it is for him/her to dodge.
PLAY NICE!
If youve fought a powerplaying character before, you know how
annoying it is when they seem to be all godlike and dodge every single attack in some miracular way, while yourself have been hit several times.
Not really a rule, but a tip;
Try get hit once in a while. If your evening the damage
(if the players are of same level of course) it will be more fun.
Think...
When you want to dodge an attack, think. Is it possible for me
to dodge it? Some people just write out: **** dodges the punch...
But if your nailed to the ground and still dodges...something is wrong.

Stuff I forgot:
Ok, so its your first time creating a RP character profile. It's quite basic really, you need to create a character that will fit into the Kingdom Hearts world and
have reasonable understandings about KH game. If you want to be related to a certain character you'll have to ask the rper who is playing that charater you want to be related
to and also a RP mod to say that you want to be related to that
character in this and that sort of way. eg. Sora's long lost twin? his lover? Ansem's daughter? you get the picture.
Now remember it has to be related to Kingdom Hearts universe and not something like space martians from Mars or anything silly like that. If you have something in specific you are after don't be afraid to ask the RP mod whether or not its possible. Mods are there for a reason so don't hesitate to ask them.
Don't make your character super strong. Only if you are an essential person to be strong to fit in the plotline, you'll rarely get admin authorization to make super strong characters.
Lastly, I decided to add the notice here for those who doesn't look at the specific rules. If you want to make a character profile for an actual existing Kingdom Hearts character, you first need to be RP tested to see if you qualify for the role. This test isn't too hard if you know the basics of the character you want to roleplay as.
