Yo, Amaya-hime. You have several good choices for anime/manga and music.
You like Chobits, you'll like DearS. I'm thinking you'll like Angel Sanctuary, too, and maybe Lunar Legend Tsukihime. You'll need somewhat of a stomach for blood, though.
Saiyuki, VPM, Orphen... all good. <3
And yes. FFX-2 was an insult to the entire series. It was just about three sexy girls and forbidden love... more like a bad shoujo manga than the fabled Final Fantasy we love and enjoy.

I have a stomach for blood. ^___^ I mean come on.. I watched all of Hellsing and various other... gory animes I just listed a few of my favorites. I should list my favorite characters and stuff.. Maybe I'll do that later. ;D

Eh, that's true. Well, Angel Sanctuary is good nonetheless. Angels, demons, incarnations, incest, oh my. What really is gruesome, however, is the anime/manga Naruto. The poor snake blew up! And Haku-chaaaaaan! Kakashi slammed his friggin fist right through his chest! T-T Haku was so pretty. Kakashi had no right to do that to the little boy.  |

Those books are THICK. About three times the width of the Alichino books (the manga Tsugiri and Miyobi are from). But it looks good nonetheless. <3
There's a couple others that were really bloody and gory... I think BASTARD! and King of Fighters or something was pretty explict.
The Wallflower has blood, but it's in a different situation. =3 Poor Sunako-chan always has bloody nses when she's around her housemates... <3
